Dr. Ordahl's research concerns the molecular and cellular events involved in asymmetric division
of myoblast stem cells leading to terminal skeletal muscle differentiation.
His current work specifically concerns molecular differentiation of the first myotome
precursor cells born during embryonic development of each body segment.
