They will also be encouraged to participate in the development of new academic and technical core facilities and provided with appropriate resources. Access to cores and other resources may at times be regulated according to priorities set by the Director, Co-Director, and Executive Committee.

Associate Investigators will have access to all academic activities, grants administration and related personnel services. Access to core facilities will be determined by availability.

Application

Investigators must apply for membership, and CRM faculty will reapply for membership every five years. Renewal applications must meet all criteria for new applicants and will also be evaluated on their contributions to the CRM over the previous period. New applications for membership or promotion will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

An important facet of applying is providing information that will be used to construct affinity groups and academic activities, to advertise your research programs to potential postdoctoral fellows and students, and to present to potential donors. Please fill out the Membership Application and provide your CV, including a listing of extramural funding. We will periodically request an updated research description.

Applications should be sent to Arnold Kriegstein, c/o Sala Major at
Box #0525 or MajorS@stemcell.ucsf.edu.
